Anthony W. Ravosa, Jr. is the President and founder of the Vince Group, Inc. After graduating from Boston College in 1986, Mr. Ravosa worked in Real Estate Management and Business Development in Springfield, Massachusetts and was elected to the Springfield City Council, serving seven years. In 1992, Mr. Ravosa ran as the GOP candidate for Congress in Massachusetts' Second Congressional District, receiving the endorsement of then Governor William F. Weld. In 1994 he accepted a position at the Massachusetts Port Authority serving as the Government Affairs Liaison for the Maritime Department, where he developed and monitored major legislation impacting the Port of Boston, in addition to acting as the primary conduit for the Port to state and federal officials. In 1996, he founded The Vince Group, Inc.

 

Mr. Ravosa has been an active fundraiser in New England for numerous local, state and national candidates. He has served on the National Finance Committees of two Presidential campaigns and has participaed in seven GOP National Conventions. Additionally, he has served on the National Finance Committee for the Republican Governors' Association since 2000.

 

In 2006, Tony Ravosa launched the annual "Connecticut Conquers Cancer" Jimmy Fund Golf Outing, an event he hosts annually, benefitting Boston's Dana Farber Cancer Institute. In conjunction with this event, working in collaboration with the Dana's Office of Patient and Family Assistance, Mr. Ravosa led efforts to establish the "Connecticut Patient Assistance Project"(CPAP) at the Dana-Farber. CPAP provides financial assistance to Connecticut cancer patients and their families to help cover non-medical expenses not covered by insurance. 

 

Mr. Ravosa is also a member of the Visitors' Committee of the Center for Esophageal and Gastric Cancer at Dana Farber, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Esophageal Cancer Action Network (ECAN). Tony is also a member of the Parents Leadership Council at Providence College.
